The shape of it
A honeymoon built on the assumption that you would like to be left alone: one house, one beach, one staff, and almost no schedule.
Two people, one house above an empty beach, and a deliberate absence of things to do. This is the least programmed journey we offer and the one honeymooners ask for most.
You are staffed — a cook, a housekeeper, a driver — so nothing has to be organised, and the driver knows which cove is swimmable on a given morning, which on this coast genuinely matters.
There is one excursion in the middle, to a clan village with a Sumbanese guide, because most travellers want one day that is not the beach. It is optional and several couples skip it.

Clara read geology at Concepcion and spent four years on fieldwork in the Andes before she ever booked a hotel for anyone. The acclimatisation schedule on our altiplano journeys is hers and she does not bend it.
She has worked in Sumba since 2019 with a guide from Kodi, and is careful about which villages we visit and how often.
