This page explains what Marivela Journeys S.r.l. would do with the information you give it. It is placeholder copy supplied with a website template. Replace it with a policy written for your own business before you trade.
What we would collect
The details you type into an enquiry or a planner: your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, who is travelling, when you would like to go and anything you tell us about how you like to travel.
If you travel with us, the additional details a trip requires — passport information, dietary requirements, insurance details and emergency contacts.
Basic analytics about how this website is used, if analytics are installed. This template ships with none.
Why we would hold it
To answer your enquiry and to plan and operate a journey you have asked for.
To meet obligations that apply to travel businesses, including financial records and the information airlines, hotels and operators require.
To write to you about our journeys, but only if you have asked us to.
Who would see it
The advisor handling your trip, and the operators, hotels and guides who need it to deliver the parts of your journey they are responsible for.
Our accountants and our insurers, where the law requires it.
Nobody else. We would not sell, rent or trade personal information.
How long we would keep it
Enquiries that do not become trips: two years, then deleted.
Trip records: seven years, because financial and insurance obligations require it.
Marketing consent: until you withdraw it, which you could do in one click on any email we send.
Your rights
You could ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it. We would respond within a month.
Write to plan@marivela.example and mark it for the attention of the data protection contact.
Cookies
This website template sets no tracking cookies and includes no third-party analytics. The planner and enquiry demonstrations store your answers in your own browser's session storage so that you do not have to type them twice; that information never leaves your device and is discarded when you close the tab.
