The Reine Loft
A converted sail loft above the water at Reine, taken whole, with the mountain wall opposite.
One building, two bedrooms, taken as a whole. It sits on the water at Reine with a wall of granite directly opposite, which in February turns pink for about twenty minutes a day.
There is a kitchen, a deep bath and a sauna on the lower level. We stock it before you arrive and can arrange a cook for one evening.
What we like
- The bath, positioned so that you are looking at the mountain
- The sauna, and the two metres between it and the sea
- Having the whole building, which in Lofoten in winter matters
Worth knowing. Reine is small. Two restaurants in winter, both of which close early. We put a stocked kitchen at the centre of this stay for a reason.
