Out with the cod boat
A working boat out of Ballstad in the season, and someone cooks what you bring back.
Between January and April the skrei run into Lofoten to spawn and the whole archipelago turns out for it. You go out on a working boat with a skipper who has done it since he was fourteen.
It is cold, wet and occasionally rough. You come back with fish, and a cook in Ballstad turns it into lunch.
