The building is designed around the temperature swing: thick walls, small windows, and a roof terrace kept deliberately unlit so that the sky works from the hotel itself.

- A kitchen that will feed you at ten at night after El Tatio
Worth knowing. San Pedro is a dusty town of one-storey buildings and it is not glamorous. The landscape is the luxury here; the hotel is a very good base.
