The altiplanic lagoons
Miscanti and Minques with the wind off them, and a very slow walk along the shore.
Two lakes at just over four thousand metres, held between volcanoes, with vicuna on the slopes and flamingos on the water. The walking is flat and the altitude makes it feel like it is not.
We schedule this for day four at the earliest. Done on day one it is a headache with a view.
